WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE SIGNS?

There are 2 instances when Proper Signage is REALLY IMPORTANT. And several other instances where the sign can make all the difference for your cases. We will look at everything about signs and towing. The Big 2 first.

So these two instances are big and first for two principal reasons:

  1. Tow companies and property owners who call tow companies to tow your vehicle fail to follow the laws on a regular basis, ultimately serving you a winning case a big, fat platter, AND

  2. The statutory laws regarding these two signage requirements are featured prominently and with great specificity, in terms of both the requirements of that must be met AND the damages for failing to follow the requirements.

Let's get into it. The two big ones have to do with

  1. Signs that must be posted on private property, such as grocery store parking lots, church parking, etc. as a prerequisite to even having the possibility of enacting a legal tow, AND

  2. Signage that must be posted at the tow company's storage lot where you go to pay to have your vehicle released.
